Success! What a job. Had by bro-in-law and his two boys to help with the heavy lifting. New sand bed looks great. Got 120# caribsea sea flor special grade. Old sand was awful, nasty, crappy, you name it! Dumped it in the back of the yard in some weeds. Not worth foolin with. Hardest part was putting the live rock with the corals back in the tank when I couldn't see what was going on. Got two heaters going and lights on to get the temp back up. Now I have to help my poor slaving wife finish up at the old house. Then we get to tackle a garage full of crap at this house. I never want to move again.
Later on I'll reset the rocks and corals when the tank clears up.
