So here is a tank up date. I was doing my tank profile and I thought to myself... "self .. how about a tank update", and me and myself agreed we would do one.
I'm dosing the following daily
1) Kalk via reactor in line with ATO (Osmolator)
2) Elos Amino acids
- I've been dosing these for quite a few months now and have slowly worked up to half of the recommended dosage. I'm dropping in 10 drops every day. I've noticed a marked change in my coral color. Colors are much deeper. I've especially noticed this on orange corals.
3) Elos ProSkimmer (plankton suppliment.. dead not alive)
4) ALK part of 2 part. For some reason I EAT alk like crazy. I dose daily and test weekly.
I feed fish 2x a day. Small flake for the chromis and anthias. and pellet for the rest. The tang gets sea weed every once and a while.
I do 1 water change every 2 weeks of 15g. So.. thats 30g a month on a 120g + small sump.
Change out GFO once every other month or so.
Skim as much as possible and run T5 lighting. YES, corals can grow very nicely under T5s if you were wondering
Thats about it
Here is a front shot.
