TDS suggestions

I'm having an algae outbreak in my tank right now. It's mainly redslime algae and is starting to have a negative effect on my corals. I have a feeling it's coming from my ro/di. I wanted to test the water before buying new filters. Does anyone have any suggestions on which affordable TDS meter to get? Thanks for any help.

Tim at keen reef has one that shows your input tds and your output tds.It plugs inline with your ro/di system. You can watch how well your system is working and you can tell when it starts to decline.I think it was 30 dollars?

Sometimes Walgreens has them for $10 or so.. Look where they keep the Brita filters..
