I was just looking up the cost on a complete set of salifert test kits and it came up to over $200. Is there any way we could get a group buy going on this. It doesn't have to be salifert.

If not, what would be the cheapest way to get complete sets?

I have no idea. It might be cheaper to buy a 'master kit' and then piece out the others. I'm curious to here what experienced group buy organizers have to say.

It just seems like test kits are something everyone needs, like salt.

I don't think Salifert makes a bundled test kit. At least I don't see one in my supplier's offerings.

Some manufacturers do.

I need another mag, calcium, and alk test kit. I would be up for a group buy from a sponsor.

+1 Elos do they have a package price? Ammonia, Nitrates, Calcium, Magnesium that would be a great package!

+1. He does a great job

I could be in on this - I've been using Seachem, but thats just because of availability (everywhere) and a lower price than Salifert.

I started a poll thread to find out what brand everyone prefers.

Elos are pretty accurate and easy to use, I dont own any but borrowed maples and they sunk my api's battle ship

Personally I use Seachem for alk, ph and nitrate and salifert for calc, mag and phosphate.

I like elos, but aside from phosphate I dont see a real need for that kind of accuracy to justify the price.

Ive also used API kits, but every one of those Ive used no matter what it was for was always 20-60% off.

But yes I would be down for a group buy.
