Test Kits?

I need some advice, Would like to have some sugestions of what test kits i need and the best brand to get of each one, having in mind ease of use and price?

id go with salfert or elos but there are both kind of pricey, if neither of those, go with seachem...

Stay away from API. Some say they like them, but I've had bad experiences with them. If you're going to be testing, which you should, you want to be sure you're going to have a decent reading. Like Geoff said, go with Salifert or Elos. I just started using Salifert myself.

Elos for everything except that u can do better with tropic Marin nitrate, and DD Merck phosphate (or Hach or colorimeter).

I've found there is not such thing as a "cheap" test kit...

That being said, I've been using Seachem as all the LFS in the area carry, and use it, and it doesn't cost quite as much as the Salifert tests.
