Whats everyones favorite testing kit and a reasonably priced store to get them? The stores near here only carry api.

Elos & Salifert

Red Sea seems gets good reviews, but I have never tried them....

I liked the Elos but they are pricy. The Red Sea pro was good on everything but mag. I am now trying Seachem for a while and they seem to be good.

I have the Red Sea reef foundation kits and love it, very well packaged, easy to use and have nice laminated cards with them. Haven't used any of their other test kits yet. I think the set was $30-40 if I remember correctly. I also have the seachem basics test kit but it just seems cheap, I'm sure it's accurate though.

The Red Sea reef foundation is a Ca/Alk/Mg test, but they don't have a combo kit for say Ph/no3/po4

Red sea pro you get - cal , alk , and mag , in one kit 40- 50 bucks
in my opinion these are the most accurate, and as close to "lab grade"as you can get

okie dokie. im going to look around at some websites for kits...not as fun as buying corals, but necessary.
