So unfortunate:

They were treating for Flukes, and those *******es obviously should have made a few more investigative tests, calls, what have you.

It bumbed me out to hear that this happened... that's a lot of live stock gone.

Hopefully they learn from this and find the cause of the die off.

The medication that they used to treat Flukes (Trematoda) caused this as already stated....:)

They didn't disclose what they used. Curious.

Very unfortunate - sadly, it can happen to anyone. :(

Man, someone probably got yelled at ! Seriously I hate that. We're there inverts and such in the tanks that could have hated the meds and nuked stuff?

Doubtful. Usually those types of displays are fish-only (no LR, no inverts). Even if there were inverts, a 25,000 gallon tank would take some serious effort to foul suddenly like that.

Stuff like this happens at public aquariums more than you'd think. It's pretty sad. Some are just honest mistakes that can really happen to anybody. Others are blatant negligence.

Because any preliminary judgment shouldn't be negative
