Thanh's 240G Build... with pics!

It begins... The tank is 60x36x27. I will be sticking to an internal return, using a Mag 12 or 18 . I will be using 4 ice cap 460, powering 12, 5ft overdriven t5 bulbs. The tank will be skimmed by an Octopus Super Reed 5000. I plan on having 2x mp60 and 2xmp40 ... but unfortunately for a few months it will be 2 x mp40 and some coravues

Still in the market for one. I figure I have about 2-3 monthes before i have to buy the controller, chiller, and calcium reactor. Staggering the equipment might be a little easier than buying everything at once.

Still cleaning it been working havent even had time to get bulk heads. When it filled with water BBQ at my place. Make everyone help me transfer lol

Consider the mag 18 over the 12. Something more efficient if you haven't already bought one

Tank finally has water. About 150 Gallons. Salt was added and being mixed by the mp40. Will add more pics soon if I get a chance
