That is my understanding. Marine Snow is just another plankton from my understanding.

Well personally i have never seen my acros catching anything i put in it.

And you probably won't. Most acros feeding are near microscopic in nature. Rest assured though that most SPS are carnivorous and either need a good fuge or supplemental feeding. Few last beyond 18 months without this feeding. Try this post for more info:
