Its definately bigger than the red sea prizm dlx I have...LOL there is like no comparison in skimmers Im sure...this thing will be a beast for a 30 cube lol

Uhmmmm I think so too...Just so the wife doesnt throw a seven at me tonight about what I spent on a skimmer I bought her this for her classroom :) lol

Ok...I dont have a problem with the color although it will take a little getting used too....

Setting up was a breeze and dialing in was a no brainer...even for me...I know it's overkill for a 30 but in the grand scheme of themes it will go on a larger tank or sump and do very well...Wife is not pleased lol

After priming the Buuble Blaster pump it immediately started some serious bubbles...not I had seen before on any of my skimmers including my ASM G3 I had....

It's very VERY quiet and although theres no gunk there is a foul smell already....more pics to come later...Heres some for now...

I may...MAY paint it...or black acrylic panels siliconed on it

Skimate to come...ZERO micro bubbles also due to an awesome design

I think the red looks MEAN! It is a little distracting, but I dig it. If anything, maybe get a piece of black acrylic the width of the tank and as high as the skimmer sticks in the water and put it over the whole thing. That way you don't have to paint the skimmer and you also dont have small random black pieces of acrylic put all over it.

Hmmmmm thats a thought...adhere it to the skimmer..will have to have 2 cut outs for the intake and output....

+1, i found that coraline covered my overflow about 2x as fast as it did the back wall, so keep your levels up, and it'll disappear in no time.

One thing I might consider is some kind of acrylic top for the piece that hangs in the tank, to keep curious fish from exploring.

I wouldn't stick anything on the skimmer...I'd silicone the black acrylic to the sides of the tank...about .5" from the skimmer. May look weird...may work out awesome.

There is an acrylic piece covering the who thing so nothing can get in...it's just so new its hard to see it...They really thought this out very well. I was floored at the absence of micro bubbles.

This morning I checked the skimate and found the skimmer is breaking in and the bubbles were less wet and much smaller and needed adjusting so no pics on gunk yet....

Im going to hold off and see how it grows on me...it does look like a bad a@@ sitting in there....So far Im really pleased...Ill post more as I see how nasty it gets...

Man....The wife is being a real Bit** about this skimmer...whining and griping it doesnt mack her freaking livingroom...Maybe I was better off divorced after all lol

I don't think I can send it back at this point...I should have got the BH800 which is clear...unbelievable...

Anyone interested or have an idea?
