I've always wanted refugium and dsb for my tanks, but I always end up putting fish in there. My latest set-up the "Percula palace" has a hang-on down off the sump and a 20g with dsb and macros above the display. no fish and now real food is growing! we've all seen the anthropods crawling and the little pods on the glass, but new to me crustaceans are swarming:thumbs:
I've even found mysis in the fallow section of my grow-out tanks:yay:
I'm still dreaming of a self feeding system, but refugia is good.

:eek:I worked hard for these pics i'll try again

It's funny, cause sometimes I'll just sit there and stare at my fuge for 10 or 15 minutes. I have some pods in there that are the size of small crickets! It's awesome just to see the cool stuff that shows up in there!

I just set up yet another cheato refugium...I always end up turning them into reef tanks.

I know fuges are intended for macros but I always end up putting a fish in as well.

James NICE shots of the copepods.
