My nitrates are around 10ppm (Salifert test), phosphates are undetectable at this time, also on a Salifert test. Right now I am running BRS GFO in a phosban 150 reactor for the past week and it seems to be doing a great job so far.
I am thinking about possibly getting some bio pellets and another reactor. I have read up on carbon dosing and not sure if that is for me. If I were to go the bio pellet route, would I still run the GFO (separately in its own reactor of course) or do they work against each other?
Edit: I forgot to mention that at the moment I do not have any corals except a few button polyps and some zoo's that came on my live rock. I will be getting my lights in a few days and hope to start adding corals next week.
