There was one colony that got fragged and given away, which was an acropora that basically looked brown with vivid, light blue tips.

I'm just curious to see if anybody (based on lighting, etc) got it to color up into anything pretty?

Mine has grown insanely fast, but other than a slightly green tint at the very base, it has remained... boring.

Mine is greenish and the tips were a mild blue but have turned pinkish lately. I need to adjust my lighting again and I think it'll color up ok.

Not my favorite coral but it is a coral :).

I actually think that coral IS brown w blue tips - I had it long before the meeting and still do, brown w blue tips...

That's what I figured, but some things just look different in different tanks for some reason. I like the blue tips... if there was a way to stimulate more branching, and ergo more tips, that would be pretty cool.

My branching has been decent but the tips lost color after I moved. I need to increase lighting a tad.

Rob...my other corals from you look insane!
