I recently bought a 28 gallon nano cube that I'm in the process of setting up. I'm going to try to pair up 2 blue spotted jawfish, although I've been told it's nearly impossible. It's going to have a 4-5" sandbed with the rock suspended from the back wall. I just finished attaching the rock to a piece of eggcrate and foaming to do a "cliff" biotype. I wanted a few other fish, but am looking for some suggestions. I was thinking 2-3 Helfrichi firefish. As fas as corals go, this will be zoas, other small softies. Build thread coming soon.

Love my tailspot blennie.
Good luck with the jawfish pair. I would love to see that work out for you

Check the MOFIB site for tips on the Blue Spotted Jawfish. Several folks there are having some success. You may not have quite enough space for a pair to get along. My reading, even though the male and female can "pair up" they still maintain seperate domiciles. Sort of a bachelor pad for the dude... Yellow-headed Jawfish would probably require less space and you could easily keep them in that size cube. I would love to get some Helfrichi as well, but not sure if there are as tough to pair up as Purple. Smoothie has had some luck with his Purple Firefish, so maybe he knows.
Good luck! It sounds like the start of a killer tank.
