I'm wondering what your thoughts are on these skimmers. I'm looking at an ASM 1 with the Sedra pump (3500 I believe). Anybody have any experience with these? Good or bad.

ASM is a good price point skimmer IMO
What would be a "good price" for the ASM G-1 with pump?
I've had an asm g1x for about 2 years now and have zero complaints. I mesh modded the sedra, but don't think that was even necessary. It's a nice set it and forget about it skimmer. I used to have a coralife and it was constant daily adjustment, only time I adjust this one is If I do something weird (like put epoxy in the tank). I just wish I would have gotten a g2 or a little bigger. I think they are good skimmers. However, if I was looking to buy a new skimmer I would get one that has the pump built into the main chamber like the reef octopus are doing to save on footprint space. With the sedra pump and the skimmer it does take up some footprint space. Overall, I can't complain as I have had 2 years of easy skimming.
