I have a CBB that has had symptoms for the past week. Appetite, breathing, and behavior are normal. I have a quarantine tank available, but Ive read that lympho really has no treatment. Is there any point in trying to catch this guy, and seperate him from the DT? OR just let him ride it out? Im feeding PE mysis a few times a day, and he's eating like crazy. My thinking is that capture and relocation may just cause unnecessary stress...?

I think you are right. I have read that netting stress is very hard on CBBs, and since it is not contagious I'd just leave it be. In the past I have netted FW fish with lymphocycstis and trimmed the fin area where it was, and the fin grows back.

Let it be. It's viral - very much like warts on people. Brought on by stress. Once the fish settles in, it will go away on its own.

The only time I'd suggest intervening in any way is if the growth is on the mouth AND impedes the fish's ability to eat.

If you "operate" on it, that leaves a wound which opens the door to infection, which is a bigger risk.

Keep it fed, let it be. It will go away on its own.

just leave it, i had a clown that dealt with it for a while. keep him happy and well fed and keep the tank clean. let him relax for a month or so and he'll be just fine. try not to do anything that could stress him in the mean time like rearranging the tank or adding another fish.
