Yes, at the Friday evening reception Thrive Water Labs will be unveiling their Water Lab Kiosk for the very first time. Throughout MACNA in the exhibitors' ballroom they will have an operational kiosk that will be performing several types of tests. When these Water Lab kiosks are in stores, these kiosks will be able to perform tests for both saltwater and freshwater.

I'd love to hear feedback from those who'll see it at MACNA.

See what kind of info I can get. I will likely just attend Friday to hopefully avoid the crowd on Saturday.

We are happy to announce that we will have the first Thrive Water Lab machine in Atlanta. No further information is available at this time, except that we are planning a Thrive Launch party around the delivery of the machine.

Thought Kevin would like this!

It would do several tests, more than what we normally test at home, that I will say. I did watch it demo the test. Very simple to get started, and if you open an account you can login each time and it keeps history. It tells you how much you need to add to one thing or another to bring the levels up. It is driven by a Servo Motor so very precise, the software counts the number of drops of Titrant and what not.
All on all, very cool, you guys will really like it! I won't go into pricing, as that will be for Kevin to determine. This was only a demo model. I look forward to seeing and using the one at The Fish Store once they get it in.

They are only producing 50 per year, so don't expect to see one in every LFS!

Should have went to Macna. One thing I learned was aquarium water testing.com
I will start doing it every four months no matter if tank is good or bad.

I think I was told at MACNA that it will do around 20 or so different test if needed. The user can pick and chose what test they would like to perform on their water sample and each test would take a few minutes each.

I've been told (by the manufacturer) that the delivered version should be capable of performing a total of 23 different types covering both saltwater and fresh. These include salinity, pH, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, strontium, iodide, ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, phosphate, DKH, KH and more. It also self-calibrates before each test and is super accurate.

I believe that at MACNA, the Thrive Water Lab demonstrating its tests for ammonia and pH.

That is correct. Pretty good demo there at MACNA, which was only a beta version. I'm looking forward to using it for history, alongside my own notes.
