Is there such a thing as a timer that can be used w rodi unit? I’m trying to a Avoid leaving my water running for a week because I forgot it was on..

I've got a solenoid I used until I bought an Aquatic Life Smart Buddie with a booster pump, it can be plugged into a timer or programmable socket. Yours for $20 if you want.

There is a 1/4" solenoid that works with the Apex. I have one, but ended up using this one since it works with my booster pump https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007XVEDFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Then I put my booster pump on the Apex and have it come on 15 minutes a day to fill the ATO reservoir. Plenty of time to refill the reservoir daily, but not enough time to cause a disaster while I'm away.

BTW, I highly recommend putting a buddy membrane on your RO unit and adding a booster pump. Best reef gadget I've bought in a long time. Went from around 50gpd to 150gpd production. Super nice not to have to wait all day to make enough water.
