What are your tricks for getting a Nem off a rock SAFELY???

I've heard two interesting tricks I'm looking to confirm...

I've heard they HATE metal and will move if coaxed with the backside of a spoon.

I've also heard they will move if you rub ice on their foot.

I've heard about ice but haven't tried it, I'd be worried about stuff in the water when it melted so if I did I'd make rodi cubes.

Although i haven't heard about the spoon idea, freezing one maybe worth a try before using ice.

I take a small MJ pump and blast the foot of the nem while slowly working my fingernail under it. Generally within about 5 minutes I have it free. Done that at least a dozen times with no issues.

You must be a very tall man lol. My husband got one of our nems to move twice, after it decided to wander off and sting stuff. He blasted its foot with a turkey baster.

I simply piss it off then rub my finger on the base and slowly slide it under and from there it slimed and releases. Never had a loss yet

We dripped the rock out of water over a bucket, but that took like 2 hours. Nem was totally fine.

RO/DI cubes! Good call. I like the frozen spoon trick too.

I know the excessive flow trick works, but it always takes too long. I know, regardless of the method, it's going to take some time... I was just hoping to expedite the process a little.

I've got three all tucked up into some rock work. I'm looking to move one to another display I have to give the Clowns in there a home. There is only one big cave in the rock work, and lately the Clowns and Banghi Cardinals have been at each other trying to lay claim to it. I am hoping this will resolve the issue.

I've always been able to get mine off rocks by rubbing the foot and slowly working the edge loose. I've heard if they're really stuck on there and you can move the rock to hang them upside down. Eventually they will move and are then much easier to remove.

I will move if you rub my feet for an hour or two. :-)

Blast it with a power head or hang it upside down are the two I have seen work.

Lol...you would have to have some extremely nice frags to trade me for a foot rub. My wife does say my foot massages are the best though...just saying. There are some empty spots in my tank I need to fill...
