Is it possible for a tomato clown and a percula clown to mate? My two clowns are swimming together.

i would say highly unlikely, but there are many hybrid fish in the ocean. if they do, i'm first in line for the eggs...

Swimming together is a far cry from breeding.

It's not impossible though.

It sounds cool, but my mind only thinks of the bad that could come out of cross breeding species of clowns. If the are kept solely in the aquarium trade, I am all for it but I agree with Slayer it's highly unlikely. If just one hobbyist released some of these into the wild and establish breeding, a new species could cause problems. I only say this because I have read awhile back of someone releasing a o.clown into the Atlantic Ocean because he thought it should return to his native home..... That's a no no. If by some chance it should happen naturally in the ocean, then that is mother natures work, not ours.
