Tomini tang eating probs

I have a Tomini I've had for a few days now and can't seem to get it to eat mostly because as soon as I get near the tank it runs and hides... I've put algae sheets in and other food bit he never comes out until I walk around the corner and he starts to pick at the rock not even looking at the algae sheets. I'm worried the rocks don't have enough food for this guy. Any suggestions?

Typical behavior. Mine ate New Life Spectrum with a vengance....


.....As long as I wasn't in site... Didn't care much for algae sheets...


Turn off all powerheads for 10 minutes when feeding, and you will find no traces of food, and a still shy fish...

Mine eats anything in the tank. He was shy at first but warmed up after about a week. Try frozen foods...mysis, brine. Make sure to turn of powerheads during feeding. They won't chase food.
