Trap crab

Can anyone please tell me how to trap a crab? I woke up early this morning I saw a crab (don't know the name, but its body is black with long nippers) ate sps coral. Man, if I catch I would fry it :shout:

I have caught "bad crabs" by using a pickle jar and dropping some frozen table shrimp bits in the bottom. The crabs go in after the shrimp and can not get back out (in theory). I stand the jar on the rock or bottom near where the crab lives and it should eventually drop in to the jar. It's worked for me but took some time. An easier way would be to remove the rock coral and isolate it until you can pull the hitchhiker out. Hope that helps!
