Hey y'all

I bought these tri color candies the other day. They were so beautiful in the original owers tanks! (he is using MH lights) I bought 3 heads ( got a great deal ). That being said, they look pretty bad now. The skelaton is starting to show! My levels are perfect, from ph - calicum. I have power compact lights. My neon candies (thanks seth the wine guy), look better than great and have already grown more heads! Why would one do so good and the other do so very bad?

I'm new so I could use some help before they die.

Thank you all!

Ryan

Moving from mh to pc can be quite a shock for coral. Move it up as high as u can and hop for the best. Candy canes are hardy tho. Give some time it SHOULD pop back.

Totally right on both accounts. I can't wait to switch to my 120 gal. I will be using LEDs. My neons seem to love a high flow, and I just assumed (my problem), that the tri colored would like a higher flow too. My mistake:(.

Got pictures? Close up of the Candy and a full tank shot?

What's directly upstream from the failing Candy? Anything that could be doing chemical warfare?

Do you run carbon?

I can see how going from PC to MH might be problematic but NOT going for MH to PC - lesser light is usually not a problem for this creature, it's pretty forgiving. It sounds more like it's being stung or irritated by something.
