Triton Core7 Other Methods

Has anyone tried the (relatively) new Triton Core7 "Other method" reef supplements?

There is very little documentation on this alternative to the traditional Triton method (and I have no space for a fuge). A friend in Austin, TX that owns an LFS swears by it, but I can't find anyone else that has ever used it.

It is a four part reef supplement that includes CA, ALK, MG, and trace elements delivered in HIGHLY concentrated form through a supposedly patented method that prevents precipitation out of solution in the bottle. I like the concept of being able to automate more than just CA/ALK/MG with only four dosing pumps, but i'm hesitant to try something that is so new.

Any ARC folks try this yet?

I've been using triton for 2+ years now and love it. I do use the original but the "other method " solutions are exactly the same as the original minus the additives for refugium growth and 7x more concentrated.

As I understand, 1 and 2 are Alk and Ca, with 3a and 3b being a combination of Mg and other trace elements that would replace the need for any Red Sea color program dosing - i.e. four parts vs. 7 parts if using Red Sea system as designed.

Do you dose anything else beyond the Triton 4 part, or are you happy with growth based on the Triton system and feeding only over the last two years?

I'm very happy with the method. The only other thing I dose is acropower at a low dose

How is this any different than using BRS stuff besides not having to mix the solution?

It has lots of trace elements that are known to provide positive outcomes in coral health
