Just some quick iPhone shots, nothing fancy. Water isn’t clear because I just fixed my gyre. Magnet split. I’ll post pics of it after the coral shots.

If you have a gyre check your magnet impeller. Mine started getting a little noiser and I took it apart to clean and found this. Glad I caught it. Just an FYI

It was one of the originals from January 2015. I’ve cleaned it before but just in the last couple weeks did it get loud enough for me to take it completely apart.

YIKES - I have 2 XF230s on my 120 - just did a cleaning on Sunday but didn't actually pull the magnets out. Mine are less then 9 months old but glad to know this is even a possibility. Will definitely be keeping an ear & eye on those.
