I use a hemastat to pinch them off at the base when they are fully extended..

Okay, that is just ridiculous. I didn't make my avatar, I found a much larger picture and cropped it. And someone took my avatar then put a copyright on it?

What has the world come to when I rip someone off, then someone else rips me off?

And do what mysterybox said...that's basically the same as kalk.
