Turf algea

I have been reading about this on other forums but have not seen it mentioned on ARC. Does anybody have any experience with them or info good or bad on using if on your tank?

Yuck, stuff is thick hair algae, and it doesn't die. You want some, come get it. I've got plenty.

What I have seen is a setup that only uses it and no skimmer. It looked interesting.

Rawn... The concept has been around for years. (What do you think we used before skimmers were popular?) It works well as long as you can keep the algae where you want it. You can also do this with aiptasia.. Works like a champ!!!
