Two Sumps, Same Size, 15FT Apart

I had thought this could be a problem when I was modifying the plumbing plans last night, I allowed for a 'T' from the main pump with a shutoff for exactly this reason. That way I can run short bursts of high pressure through the line to clean it out. Thanks for bringing it up!

Install clean outs like plumbers do on sanitary lines. You unscrew the top and run a snake through the pipe. A bit of a pain but not too bad.

I know you all think I have no heart but now I have an ultrasound to prove it. :)

So, the job has been completed now for some time, and running. I figured I would post an update since and tell you all how it went.

We ended up getting a demolition saw, and a jack hammer for the job. We did not know this when we started, but it turns out the floor was under 8" of concrete. The job took a solid 2 days to complete because of the unexpected concrete depth. We ran a 2", a 1.5" and a 3/4" pipe in the freshly made conduit. The 2" was the no-pressure return, and the 1.5" was the pump side push. The 3/4' was for electrical cable for communication between the two sides. All went mostly well, many tweaks were needed to fine-tune it. The two sumps have been exchanging water for many weeks now. Ultimately, the project was success.
