Ugly Fish, But Need ID Please...

Ahhh. I see. Here in Alabama, Auburn University in Auburn Alabama are rivals with University of Alabama (Roll Tide)...

Thought you may have been an Auburn fan mocking the Roll Tide. I'm an Auburn (AL) fan myself...

My profile shows Montgomery, GA when I live in Montgomery, AL...

Edit: Alright now... Back to the fish... LOL...

Haven't given up. Six-banded Hawkfish?

They didn't know what it was. They received it on a trade, and since this was my first SW tank, I figured they would be good fish to test out my tank on instead of finding out with a $50.00 tang that my tank had issues. They sold them to me for $2.00 each.

Had a lawnmower blenny before. This ain't one of them. Thanks for the reply. Sometimes I need my glasses to look for my glasses. LOL. I may just need a better camera. Sorry for the bad pics...

Any chance you could post some clearer pics? Its kinda hard to see any distinguishing features from your pics.

My first thought was maybe Molly Miller Blenny but I'm thinking not.

AU_ALUM: I'll try to get better pics tonight... BTW: WAR EAGLE, MAN!!! I graduated from AUM, and am a die hard AU fan myslef...

Jenn: It definetely has the markings of a Roy Miller Blenny, but it has the body shape and movement of a hawkfish. These things are hardy as heck (been through a tank crash and an accidental cycle in QT), and eat anything. Wish tangs were this hardy...

Yes, post a better pic. Try not to take the next picture with a potato. LOL!!

Alright... Here is the best I could do with my potato. :shades:
Hope this is better...

Edit: What the heck... How did a picture of my mantis shrimp get on that post?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Sorry about that. LOL...

Lol! Nice mantis. I have a Zebra mantis.

You sure someone didn't catch that thing off the beach???

Yeah. I love my mantis. Thinking about getting a peacock as well and sectioning off the tank. How large is your zebra and how deep is your sandbed? Spearers are cool!!!

Edit: Got my mantis online.

Edit: Jenn and jmaneyapanda: any idea on the fish?

The zebra is about 4.5-5". The sand bed is shallow for now. Maybe 5". I'll be adding more as he grows.
