So my new build is in my own domain downstairs.... and I kinda have a good size walk in closet I don't know what to do with... soooooooo

It may be my filtration / sump / skimmer / frag / matrix / whatever fish room bwhahahahahaha

If I go this route... I won't have to worry about sump size.. or anything....how cool is all that

Tank would need to center on the door though...

AND there's no power in there :/

Looks like you have a drop ceiling so getting power in there would be a breeze. Also is there power in that hallway on the same wall? If so just tap into that.

Tapping existing could work but not recommended. Put in a dedicated circuit or two with GFI protection. The existing may have Arc Fault protection depending on how new the house is. Arc Fat may give you nuisance tripping which could result in a crash.

Should be easy to tell if he has AFCI breakers. The older ones have a yellow label and newer ones will have a green breaker.

as with any electrical work of course it should be done to current building codes and since water is involved it should have a GFCI.

put the tank on the far right wall and run plumbing out the left side of the stand into the closet. and as far as power goes..... with all the money thats going into this tank you might as well pay an electrician a couple hundred bucks to come and install a some outlets on their own breaker in there.
