Well I was going to get what a really nice aquarium but the thing was it just was like WOW it didn't even look like a aquarium. Jen told me from imagine oceans (they are closing and have good deals) that it was a Invert system to keep shrimp and things like that end. Well she sold it to another shop I guess but they needed it more than I did but anyways I really want one but I don't know the name of the tank. She called it a "Invert Tank" and it look like a normal aquarium on the bottom with another one on top but it has dividers in it. There are 2 main ones and like 15 little aquariums. All I really want to know is what type of tank it is. THANKYOU for reading this.

Edit: And they are usually in a slatwater fish store. With shrimp and other things in them.

I haven't seen it, but it might just be a display system for fish stores, since another store bought it. Jen will know what you're talking about, but I think she's ridiculously busy right now. You can have anything made if you have the money. :)

Yes it is a display system. Fine for keeping inverts for a short time but it would not be suitable for keeping livestock long term.

I am going on a cruise.....on my lawnmower around my yard.

Well I'm going to start fragging and thought that would be perfect what is the display system called. And yes I just went to to her store today and yesterday. I got so many nice corals from her.

Haha wow. I think you can fit them in there wink wink..

Edit: Wait so what are they called??

Edit: And thank you for replying so fast.

Inverts could live in it indefinitely if it was maintained properly.

If you're looking more for a coral propagation system, a shallow, wide tank is a better choice - more surface area, easier to light.

The system you were looking at is more for tiny creatures or (temporary) holding for small fishes to keep them separated from one another.

For us, using those little cubicles made it easier for customers to select shrimp, crabs, and other inverts.

Well that's the thing i want something like that 20 gallon was nice but I think i would like something shallower and a little bit bigger.

You may want to look at a 40 gallon breeder for size. The only thing is that the 40 gallon breeder would not be shallower.

in other words, you "think" that's what you might have wanted and worked for you, in actuality, everyone including Jenn is like, "nope, glad Jenn sold it to so & so...."

so, accept that you are incorrect, and let's get what you need...

I love how you always pair an insult with some kind of attempt at helping

You are a truly unique individual MB.

This is becoming harassment....STOP IT!

I have reported you to the mods...you have become ridiculous, and very obsessed..............don't you even realize that most of my posts are meant to be comical? (granted, sad at best) how OLD are you?

You can't just call it harassment and click "report post" and get me in trouble. I'm very much welcome to my opinion, which is that your advice generally contains insults (and when I say generally I do mean almost always).

Last time I was "discriminating" now I'm "harassing". Wow.

GENTLEMEN! (And I'm using the term loosely.) Shame on you! Would you please go and deal with your personal matters and grievances someplace else?

The young man that started this thread, doesn't need you both airing your dirty laundry with each other, in his thread.

Jacob - I actually have a 40 breeder - used...that we used to have at home. It has an after-market modification/insert that makes it a "reef ready" tank, without a sump. I didn't think of it before - but I've got it at the shop. I don't have a stand for it or lights, but the tank might be a good fit for you.

I apologize for the behaviour of these two in the posts above me. Some folks don't know how to make a guy feel welcome.

my apologies Jenn, please forgive me

you, as usual, are correct!

YA like really you guys are actually "fighting" about each other on someone else's post. Don't you guys have manners. And how much is the 40 gallon cause I think I found some lights on craigslist.

I'd take $150 cash for it, I think there's a pump with it too, I'll have to look. I had it listed for more, but I thought there were lights with it - but I think the lights went elsewhere.

It's just the tank - no stand - but it's a start :)

Ya I think I could find or make a stand. And does it have a overflow?

And if I got the 20 gallon and wanted a sump would it be better to drill the tank or use PVC pipe to make the overflow.
