Upgraded votechs?

Is the end product of a Vortech MP20 that is upgraded to the MP40w ES any different than a MP40w ES that was built that way from the factory?

That would make it even more enticing. If it is ultimately the same product it would seem to be a no brainer, hence my question. If they are not quite the same then it would be interesting to know what the difference(s) are.

Yeah, I've found a place online that sells the upgraded MP20s, in fact i'm running one right now. But like you'd expect... no factory box, manual or warranty.

How long have you been running them? Any issues?

Well the one I bought from them has been running for ... about a month without any issues.

No. You have to get a new power supply and driver, but the wet and dry side are exactly the same...
I upgraded my MP20 to the MP40w ES by buying the upgrade kit. No issues whatsoever...
