USED MagDrive - MaxiJet Maintenance

I have a used MJ900 that is making a rattling noise and the impeller cover will not stay in place. Is it worthwhile to replace these parts?

I also have a used MD5 that is making a rattling noise... it's pumping OK. Does the impeller need replacing or should I look at something else?

I am only cycling live rock now, but I would like both in tip top condition when my 90 is up and running. (Plan to use the MJ900 and MD5 in a QT or as part of my RO/DI system.

Ditto that. I rebuilt my Mag 7 and it's working good. The Maxijet, get a mod kit. Unless your using it for a phosban reactor or something like that.

I carry replacement parts for Mag Drives. Costs a lot less to repair than to replace.
