I use:

Stainless steel tweezers- to clean out new frags and remove worms, asterinas etc.

Toothbrush- to clean out skimmer collection cup weekly

Food grade pipe(for drinking water plumbing)- Cut to desired size and use as frag plug and a really long one to move stuff if I don't want to put my hands in the tank.

Syringe with needle- to successfully KILL APSTASIA specially the ones that grew right smack in the middle of your LE zoas

Turkey baster- we all know the uses for it but just in case. To feed corals and blast yuckies off the rocks when cleaning, to remove uneaten food(not in my tank lol)

Ziplock bags- To bag frags that are not traveling long.

What do you guys use?

Get the one at lowes, with their bucket! Great stuff! Powerful! Most buckets crush, so again, get theirs.

On water-change day, I round up the towels in both bathrooms and use them to catch whatever I spill, then it all goes in the wash.

Not really anything super special, but it ensures that I wash my towels every other week. LOL

Thats a great idea to help me clean my sump. I am going to get one today:thumbs:
I always have to try and get the siphon to suck out the crud and it never gets to the bottom and gets all the crud.

I have not used the one from Lowes but love the HD version.

I took a stiff bristle nylon brush and tied tubing to it with dental floss. I can scrub & vacuum at the same time.

I use a baby bottle cleaning brush or a drinking glass brush to clean the inside of my skimmer out. Put the collector cup back on, turn on the skimmer, and the gunk bubbles into the cup for easy dumping.

The one thing useful I need to get is one of those plastic grabbers. See sig
