Using Erythromycin in reef?

Just curious who's used it and any precautions i may need to take to prevent problems with corals,or cheato in my sump?

I've used it in freshwater but not salt. Only thing I can recommend, as with all medications, make sure you have plenty of aeration. Many medications can deplete oxygen. I always run extra air stone and ensure plenty of surface agitation.

I used it the other day - with no ill effects on anything I wanted to keep but did low localized doses with the pumps off, before turning bumps back on to dissipate it. I have a family of quarter inch shrimp (that’s adult size!!) and they were all fine, as were the corals. I dipped euphilia in a strong dose for 5 mins followed by a peroxide rinse, put it in my spare rock tank and it did great.
