Just your routine water changes will do. Sometimes in doing several large & frequent water changes, we can actually take a step back by removing some of the colonies of beneficial bacteria that we have worked hard to colonize; when Prime is used as directed, the nitrogenous compounds will be detoxified, but still available to the bacteria in the biofilter.
