Sooooooo finally order the tank I have always wanted! Marine land 180 that will have a Synergy Reef Shadow overflow drilled. Custom stand and canopy. I ordered x2 32 inch SB Reef lights pro timer lights, and a Tideline 48 inch sump. Pictures and videos on my YouTube channel coming.

Well the update on the mixing station. Drove over three hours to pickup x2 50 gallon tanks. Bought a Pan word 50 pump to mix everything.

Bought 90 pounds of dry Flamingo reef sand and 40 pounds of special grade reef sand from caribsea.

Tank and stand come in next week!

Following along. If you havent purchased your overflow yet i found these ones from

I have. I got a synergy reef shadow overflow. I have heard bad and good so we will see. Just trying to figure out how to put pictures up and I will have some up

It sounds like you are building out what I am planning for my next tank....tagging along to see what I will need to do.

The tank comes in this week so by next week I’m gonna have pictures up. I intend to do a whole lot of videos about it on my YouTube channel also. Let me know if I can help you out in anyway

I installed Pan liner inside the cabinet to make it water proof about 4” high inside the stand. It was such a pain because the sump is so big it was put in through the top of the stand and with the tank on now I had to lift the sump and slide this crap underneath it. Currently been about 3 days of making water and almost have enough to start overflowing into the sump. Making 240ish gallons of Saltwater is miserable lol

This looks awesome! The exact upgrade I want to do. Currently have a 125 Gallon Peninsula very similar to this.

Ya I went from my 90 gallon to this and it’s a work in progress but has been fun as hell making it what I want
