i wasn't sure if they made ozonizers that were cost effective for a solana.

any input??? or should i just got with a UV???
 
crystal clear water :)

i was talking to someone last night that said it had a major effect on water clarity
 
ah. well does anyone here run a UV on a smaller tank then? or is that a bad route as well?

It can be done fairly easy with the right equipment.

It is a simple ozone generator so I doubt it could look any different. I have used one and it outlasted the redsea version by three.
I'm not sure how efficient it would need to be for a solana.

funny story - I bought my tank 9 months ago and it came with a 57w Aqua UV - $400 brand new.....didnt know what it was worth so I traded it to my neighbor for a coralife skimmer.....doh:doh:

RIGHT!! luckily he is a plumber so he installed my RODI all nice an neat and is going to hard pipe my system for free too - he does buy me lots of beer too so I think I am coming out ahead. Plus he gave me 2 massive maroon clowns.....not for the UV though
