Vega vs Hydra what to buy?

Just saw the hydra online and was wondering what the difference between the two. The hydra looks pretty nice and could possible have more color options than the Vega but i am new to the LED world so i am looking for some input. I will be putting one over a 24x24x20 cube.

What a knock off though. Pretty sure Maxspect is a Chinese company, so knocking off a Chinese product is pretty much the lowest of low. I wouldn't buy it just based on that.

The hydras have 80 degree optics and work with the wireless controller without an adapter.

I think the hydras fall in line between the Sol and the Vega. AI makes some great lights and have awesome customer service. All their products are modular and can be upgraded as technology improves.

Not sure the Tesla is a knockoff... the shape is similar but so are a lot of things we buy (light bulbs). And... it appears to be a US company.

I'll be getting three Razors (sweet deal), but would definitely consider the Tesla for the warranty if nothing else. (One year, LED pad replacement three years).

I'm pretty sure the hydras are replacing the Sol. i believe with the vega you can customize each puck and replace pucks to obtain the color desired. hydra and sol cannot do that. the hydra is a set color pattern

I run the AI Vega color and have been very happy with it. But if you buy an AI setup I would strongly recommend buying the new director and not the so called wireless controller. In my experience with the controller it was JUNK.....
