Was wondering if anyone knew where I could locally find a 65 gallon vertical tank, like this one.

There was a posting about someone buying something similar - http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=81820">http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=81820</a>

Contact the company mentioned in that thread. You might be able to find something like you want or very close.

Check with tank-depot.com. They have a location in Griffin, Ga and you can pick up from there if you order online. Shipping literally costs hundreds of dollars. They wanted $202.00 to ship here to Montgomery, Al.

Yea I might do that. So did you have to pay shipping to pick up there?

Well, they were closed on Memorial day and I had to get back to Alabama, so I didn't get one. But, I did contact customer service and was told that there is no charge to pick up from the store.

Cool I'll check it out. Thanks

Tank-Depot does not carry this size instock at griffin location so back to drawing board.

Edit: I've got a call into PBM tank supply I will update with verdict.

Let us know how it goes. I couldn't find their address in Georgia, but know they ship from Georgia. Do you know where they are located???

Thanks...

Ok so I got a call back from Eric with PBM tank supply and he said the Griffin location had 16 of these. http://www.pbmtanksupply.com/vertical-storage-tanks/vert-65.html">http://www.pbmtanksupply.com/vertical-storage-tanks/vert-65.html</a>

I'm personally buying one for my saltwater mixing. If you are interested I'm sure they have other sizes available at this location. Just ask for Eric and he can check to see if they have the size you want at the Griffin location. It literally saves you $150 bucks to pick up. It costs more for delivery than tank costs.

What a ripoff. Besides they didn't have the tank I wanted anyway and it would have to be shipped from Iowa. I'll have to check out PBM and try to save the shipping fee for some nice corals...
Thanks Merkywater

That's different than what they told me. Good to know...

I'm picking mine up at a Griffin location there was a $25 pickup charge. I don't understand it but hey $117 I'm completely happy. For the record I purchased the 65 gal vert.

Good deal!
