vinegar question

so i just got a used mp40. and i soaked it in vinegar to clean it. Question is, can i put this vinegar back into it's container and reuse it in the future to clean other equipment? seems like a waste just to throw it down the sink after a one time use.

I would dilute it to 1 part vinegar 5 part water if all night.
