Meant viparspectra. Watched the BRS video comparing the four black boxes. May go with the 300w for my 40B.

Limited adjustment..but awesome lights. Especially for the money and there are plenty of videos on how to replace leds for the spectrum you want. I run stock. 2% white and 40%blue. Not as blue as I want but grow corals like crazy. You might want to go with the smaller one on a 40g breed

Yeah I was debating a smaller one or two and mounting it high or the larger one and mounting it lower and saving a few bucks.
