I bought this a few months ago from a member and it worked ok. I had to replace the wet side and gasket.( Wasnt told broken) Now the vortech is Blinking and not running. Its blinking through all the modes and colors. Can anyone help me or am i F and need a new one

But its not doing anything?

Its blinking green X2 then White X2 then Blue X2 then Red x1 then it does it again then just shuts down The prop does not move

did you get this worked out? Go to the ecotech website and look under customer support and DL that 40 freakin page manual and see if you can find that certain code in there. That manual online is really extensive.

No, Nothing yet. I did Email them tho. Its out of warranty so if its broke im SOL. a dry side cost just as much as a newer one..

I doubt its the dryside, seems like it would be in the controller if anything. Check that site it will help you out man.

I have to agrree!! I just bought 2 new mp40

I hate to say it but thats the risk to buying used products. Sounds like it could be a simple fix, or it could be a sign that the pump is shot. Tried to do some research but couldn't find anything out.

On their web site under troubleshooting it list various color combos and what they mean. The final remark states that if there is a color combo not listed you should contact customer support for assistance. I would not wait for e-mail support but call them land line and you might get a better response that way.

Well.... I figured out the problem... : ) My Gf plugged it in the wrong spot on the Reefkeeper and it thought it was a Heater which turns off on 80.00 Well the tank kept going 79.9 to 80.0 every few seconds..

In other words my MP is fine and working!
