Sam at Aquabuys now has a Vortech with the Gen2 driver so I went there this afternoon to upgrade one of mine. It was very easy to do, following the excellent instructions found on Ecotech's web site. It only took about five minutes.
Sam said he would be happy to help upgrade anyone's drivers even if they did not initially buy the units from him. All you need is the dry side and power cords and if you have two, you can leave one at home running and just upgrade it when you get back.
