Vortech MP10

I have a regular 50 gallon tank with LPS and softies. Do you think one Vortech MP10 would provide enough flow for my tank?

i've got 2 in a 120gal tanks and i turn them down.
they work great!

You will get great flow with an MP10 in a tank of that size. It is a great pump, you will really like it!

Do you have many sps? Im just curious because I have the same tank and figured I would need to MP40s and im not paying $600-$800 for pumps.

Lots of softies and lps in my tank, you will need more flow for corals that require high flow and you don't want to run your pumps at 100% all the time, it will shorten the life span of the pump.
I will soon have to upgrade or add more pumps.
Better to have more power available and not need it than to not have it at all.
