Vortech placement

So I'm wondering where my vortech is placed now is not using the pump to it's full potential. Currently it is on the right side. But it is blowing over some acros I have. Would moving it help or change anything. Here is an older FTS and what you can't see is that their is room between the overflow and back glass, and that the front 4ish inches are blocked by the wall. Please post all suggestion. Oh the tank is 30x20x22 in-wall and were talking about the MP40W pump.

IMO you want that pump blowing long ways through the tank.

I would say about 10 inches down and as in the middle as you can get it horizontally.

I don't think theres anything WRONG with that placement.
