I sent in my MP40W and they tell me I have a bad power supply. They want $50 plus shipping to replace it. If I let them keep my old power supply, they will ship it for free. Any ideas out there? Seems pricey!

I'm guessing your outside your one year warranty? That sucks man!

 I knew that. lol, well heres the magic question. Did it get wet?

That's why I am asking. I had mine supposedly get wet three days after I hooked them up and had to get another controller.

Yeah I remember that crap, seemed fishy to me didnt he say it had one of those lil stickers like a cell phone. If it gets wet it turns red?

Exactly. Their customer service made it good for me after me getting a little upset.

Wow... I called em up when one of my power supply units had gone bad and the guy that answered the phone was like, "...oh, well... whats your address I'll overnight one to you". Sure enough... two days later (I had called at like 5pm) there was a small box on the front porch.

When I ordered my first one the power supply was bad out of the box. They overnighted me one right away. Turns out the Power Supply is fine, the cord just needs a little shave where the plug is so it fits correctly into the power suppy...

So I possibly have an extra Tex....PM me and maybe we can work something out.

It didn't get wet that I know of. I was just wondering if there was an alternative cord I could use. Gmoplan, I'll take you up on your deal if I can't find another solution. I forgot that yours would obviously include the power source! :)

I'm still waiting on their response, but I'm 99% sure I'll need your driver. Where abouts in town do you live?
