I was running reef crest mode but wanted to try out making a wave in my tank.

I threw it in Short pulse and have it exactly the way I want it but to me it seems running it like this would wear out the motor faster. Is there anything to worry about or will the motor handle it?

well it's programmed to do it, so I would imagine its ok

The motor can handle it. I've been doing short pulse mode for years now...

Yeah, I figured since it was programmed it would be fine but man it seems like that has to put stress on this thing.
