I have saved for a very long time to get this. My wallet is not very large but I make do with what I have.

Don't be afraid to look at the Apex Jr. I have one on my biocube and could use it on my upgrade if I wasn't going to keep the cube up and running. Definite limitations but still full featured. I added an EB8, PM1, VDM, and WXM. Hindsight being 20/20 it would have been a smarter but to get the full thing but I wasn't sure if I really needed one and was hesitant to spend that much up front. The Jr really brings down the entry price point.

2 main selling point for me were: I could monitor the tank at any time from anywhere and it will get rid of this birds nest of wire and timers behind the tank.
