Watch your Nems at lights out next few days

Hey folks, if you've never seen your RBTA spawn, the next few nights is a good chance of seeing it. Look for the bodies to turn into a tube like shape almost making it look like a leather coral. The mouths will swell and before too long, they will spawn like crazy. It only happens once or twice a year and most people never get to see it as you would never know anything happened come morning. Happens in the first quarter of the year with full moons. If you see nothing but a milky cloud coming from the nem, it's a male. You can see tiny eggs from females. (All of mine are clones of the same Nem and males.)

Last night my entire tank looked like milk. I got a good video clip of them doing it. Don't freak out or be alarmed. It won't crash your tank. It could make your skimmer go a little crazy, so, just keep an eye out for that. Otherwise, take some shots and share!

I just took this shot after posting. I have about 6 Nems that live together. Notice how they almost look like a tornado? They're about to blow!
